Description
Mikey McGrath, a young single man of 1940s Ireland, was footloose and fancy-free. He let life take its course until a row broke out between his older brother Tom, the heir apparent to the farm and their father. Meanwhile, a big farmer of a hundred acres had set eyes on his sister Kate in the village. The McGraths were a happy family until a rumour spread that their neighbours were to sell land.
